Fear & Loathing in New Mexico: A Bisagra Tale
In the bustling world of documentary filmmaking, where every frame tells a story and every detail matters, the role of the associate producer is often understated yet essential. Bobby Kennedy III's "Fear and Loathing in Aspen" is not just a documentary—it's a deep dive into the complexities of Aspen, a town synonymous with wealth, allure, and a hidden undercurrent of controversy. Judy Campbell Clancy's role as associate producer in "Fear and Loathing in Aspen" exemplifies the transformative power of documentaries to explore, educate, and inspire.
Judy's newest endeavor TheBisagraCollection.com is situated in an "incubator" studio at the San Juan College Business Center, New Mexico. Bisagra specializes in a collection of merchandise inspired by Hunter S. Thompson. Highlighted on the website are Hawaiian Shirts modeled after Hunter's preferred styles, featuring graphics by Courtney Martin derived from a photo of Hunter captured by Deborah Fuller. The HST Collection consist of Hunter-inspired T-Shirts, Hoodies, and Hawaiian Shirts with our iconic Red Shark and Owl Farm designs.
Here at Bisagra we are more than fashion, we're on a mission. Combatting racism and poverty, creating jobs in Diné (Navajo) communities. Where fearless design meets timeless storytelling. Bisagra's product development, marketing, and printing are handled by the Diné Indigenous People of the Navajo Nation. Judy participates actively in the International Thomas Merton Society and collaborates with the Catholic Charities to provide food and housing for Native Americans in the Four Corners region.
Great project Judy! There should be more people like you in the world!! What a selfless endevour...
